Short version: be kind, keep it about friendship, meet in public, respect people’s no, and report anything that feels off. We have zero tolerance for abuse.
Rizzable only works if people feel safe saying yes to a plan. These guidelines apply to everything on Rizzable: profiles, moments, plans, circles, direct messages, group chats and meetups that start here. Breaking them can lead to removal of content, a warning, a suspension or a permanent ban.
1. Friendship first
Rizzable is for making friends and doing things together. It is not a dating or hook-up app. Don’t use plans, Discover or messages to flirt with people who didn’t ask for it, to look for romance or sex, or to send unwanted compliments about someone’s looks.
2. Be decent
- No harassment, bullying, threats, intimidation or doxxing (sharing someone’s address, school, phone number or other private details).
- No hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or any other protected characteristic.
- No pressure: respect it when someone says no, leaves a plan or stops replying.
- No impersonation, fake accounts or pretending to be younger or older than you are.
3. Zero tolerance
These lead to an immediate permanent ban and, where the law requires or a life may be at risk, a report to the police:
- Any sexual content involving minors, grooming, or adults trying to contact teens.
- Sexual or nude content of any kind, and sharing intimate images of someone without consent.
- Credible threats of violence, promoting terrorism or violent extremism.
- Human trafficking, exploitation or selling sex.
4. Keep it legal and honest
- No scams, phishing, pyramid schemes, money requests or selling things. Plans and circles are not for commercial promotion.
- No drugs, weapons, gambling or alcohol offered or arranged through Rizzable, and no plans built around them for teens.
- No spam, mass messaging, bots or automated accounts.
- No content that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or privacy.
- No encouraging self-harm, suicide or eating disorders. If you’re struggling, reach out to someone you trust; in the Netherlands you can contact 113 Zelfmoordpreventie (call 113 or 0800-0113) or chat with De Kindertelefoon (0800-0432) if you’re under 18.
5. Plans and meetups
- Plans take place in public places, with a clear time and a small group (2 to 6 people).
- Describe the plan honestly. No bait-and-switch, private addresses or “come to my place”.
- Show up as yourself, leave whenever you want, and let the group know if you can’t make it.
- No alcohol-centred plans for teens, and no plans that put people at risk.
6. Report and block
You can report a profile, a moment, a plan, a circle or a message straight from the app, and block anyone. Blocked people can’t message you, see your profile or moments, find you in Discover or see the plans you host. Reports are confidential: the person you report is not told who reported them.
Every report is reviewed by a person. Reports involving a teen or a safety risk are handled first, and we aim to act on reports of objectionable content within 24 hours. In an emergency, always call 112 first.
7. What happens when rules are broken
Depending on how serious it is, we remove content, give a warning, suspend an account for a set time or ban it permanently. Repeated or zero-tolerance violations lead to a ban. You get a statement in the app explaining what we decided and why, and you can ask us to reconsider via support@rizzable.eu.
