Short version: Rizzable is free, it’s for friendship (not dating), you must be 13 or older, be decent to people, meet in public, and Plus is optional: €4.99 a month or €39.99 a year, bought and cancelled through Apple.
These terms apply to the Rizzable app and the rizzable.eu website. By creating an account you agree to them, together with the Community Guidelines and the EULA. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
1. Who offers Rizzable
Rizzable is offered by Jaimy Koorndijk, sole trader, trading as Rizzable. Postal address: Rivierenpark 19, 4535 EJ Terneuzen, the Netherlands (not a visiting address: please do not drop by, all contact goes by email). Email: support@rizzable.eu. Phone: +31 6 14375271.
Please contact us by email first; we answer in Dutch or English. The phone number is for when email does not work for you.
Rizzable is offered as a trader, so Dutch and EU consumer law applies to our agreement with you. Nothing in these terms takes away rights that the law gives you and that cannot be excluded.
2. What Rizzable is
Rizzable helps you find people to do things with: small plans in public places, circles around shared interests, friends, moments and chats (direct messages and group chats). It is friendship-first and not a dating service. There are no public likes, follower counts or streaks.
All core features are free. Rizzable Plus is an optional subscription with a few extras (section 7).
3. Who can join
You must be at least 13 years old. When you sign up we ask your date of birth; giving a false date of birth is not allowed. If you are 13 to 17, your account gets teen settings: hidden from Discover by default, messages only from friends, and kept separate from adults. If you are under 16, please use Rizzable with the knowledge of a parent or guardian.
You need one personal account with a valid email address. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us at support@rizzable.eu if you think someone else has access.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post: your profile, moments, plans, circle posts and messages. You give us a free, non-exclusive licence, limited to the EU and to what is necessary, to store, show and deliver that content to the people you share it with, for as long as it is on Rizzable. The licence ends when the content or your account is deleted.
Only post content you are allowed to share, and don’t post other people’s personal details without their permission.
5. Rules, moderation and appeals
The Community Guidelines and the EULA set out what is not allowed. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users.
Anyone can report content or accounts; users can also block anyone. Reports are reviewed by a person, and reports involving a teen or a safety risk go first. Depending on the seriousness, we may dismiss the report, remove content, warn you, suspend your account for a period or ban it permanently. We always take the facts, the seriousness and any earlier violations into account.
If we act against you, we tell you in the app what we decided, why, which rule or law it is based on and how to object. You can ask us to reconsider any decision within 6 months by emailing support@rizzable.eu; someone who was not involved in the original decision looks at it again where possible. You can also go to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body or to court. Details are on the DSA contact point page.
6. How Discover and plans are sorted
We don’t use opaque algorithms or paid boosts. Discover shows up to 8 people at a time who are in your age group, have chosen to be discoverable, are not blocked and are not already your friends. They are sorted by points: 2 for every shared interest, 1 for the same vibe and 2 for the same city.
The plan list shows plans you host or joined first, then nearby plans within about 80 km, sorted by shared interests and then by start time. Plans with an open spam or safety report are temporarily left out of nearby lists. The feed shows moments from friends and your circles, newest first, and ends when you are caught up.
You influence this by editing your interests, vibe, city and Discover setting. Rizzable Plus never changes the order.
7. Rizzable Plus
Plus adds the playful and direct conversation-starter tones and extra room colours. It gives no extra reach, no higher position in Discover or plans and no extra chance in giveaways.
Prices: €4.99 per month or €39.99 per year, including VAT. Plus is sold as an in-app purchase in the iPhone app through Apple’s App Store. Apple handles the payment under its own terms; we never see your payment details. Outside the euro area Apple shows the price in your local currency before you confirm.
Auto-renewal: Plus renews automatically for another month or year at the then-current price, and Apple charges your Apple ID within 24 hours before the current period ends, unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the period. If the price ever goes up, Apple tells you first and asks for your consent where the rules require it.
Cancelling: through Apple, in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Rizzable, or in the app via You → Plus → Manage subscription. You keep Plus until the end of the period you already paid for. Deleting your Rizzable account does not cancel the subscription; cancel it with Apple as well.
Refunds: because Apple takes the payment, refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com and decided by Apple under its policies. We cannot refund App Store payments ourselves. If something with Plus doesn’t work, email us and we’ll help.
Right of withdrawal: Plus is digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium and that we make available straight after purchase. Before you buy, you agree that Plus starts immediately and you acknowledge that you therefore lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once it has started (article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code). Apple confirms the purchase by email. This does not affect Apple’s own refund policy or your rights if Plus does not work as described.
8. Giveaways: terms and conditions (actievoorwaarden)
From time to time we run free giveaways in the app, for example two packs of stroopwafels. These general conditions apply to every giveaway, together with the specific terms of that giveaway, which you can read before entering in the app and on a public terms page for each giveaway.
- Organiser: Jaimy Koorndijk, sole trader, trading as Rizzable. Postal address: Rivierenpark 19, 4535 EJ Terneuzen, the Netherlands (not a visiting address: please do not drop by, all contact goes by email). Email: support@rizzable.eu. Phone: +31 6 14375271. The giveaway promotes the Rizzable app.
- Entry is free. No purchase is needed and there are no communication costs. Rizzable Plus gives no extra chance. One entry per account.
- Each giveaway lists the entry period (start and end), the number of prizes, a description and the value of the prizes before it starts.
- Minimum age: 18 unless the giveaway says 16 or 13. Entrants aged 16 or 17 need permission from a parent or guardian, tick a box to confirm it and give the parent’s email address, which we record with the time of consent. Entrants under 16 can only take part once the parent or guardian confirms through a link we email to them; until then the entry does not count and is not included in the draw. Prizes in giveaways open to minors are always suitable for minors.
- Winners are drawn at random after entries close, with a cryptographically secure random draw. We record a fingerprint of the draw so it can be checked afterwards. Employees and helpers of the organiser are excluded.
- Winners are notified in the app and have 30 days to claim their prize by giving a shipping name and address. Unclaimed prizes lapse. The result of the draw is shown in the app within three months after the giveaway ends.
- Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash. If a prize is unavailable, we provide a prize of equal value.
- Winners never pay gambling tax (kansspelbelasting). If a prize is worth €449 or more, the organiser pays and declares that tax. If the total prize value of a giveaway is above €4,500, the full Code of Conduct for Promotional Games of Chance applies.
- We use your entry and, if you win, your shipping details only to run the giveaway and send the prize. Shipping details are encrypted and deleted 60 days after you give them, or sooner once the prize has been sent. A parent’s email address is erased 60 days after the giveaway ends. See the Privacy Policy.
- Complaints about a giveaway: email support@rizzable.eu within 30 days after it ends. We answer within 14 days.
- Giveaway terms are not changed during a giveaway to the disadvantage of participants. In case of fraud or misuse we may exclude an entry.
- The organiser complies with the Dutch Code of Conduct for Promotional Games of Chance 2014 (Gedragscode Promotionele Kansspelen 2014).
9. Meeting up safely
Plans must take place in a public place and you choose whether to go. We don’t run background checks and a verified badge only means a moderator has reviewed the profile; it is not a guarantee. Read the Safety Center before meeting people and call 112 in an emergency.
Rizzable is a platform that helps people connect. What happens between users, online or at a meetup, is their own responsibility.
10. Availability and liability
Rizzable is built and run by one person. We do our best to keep it running smoothly and safely, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free, and features may change. Updates are delivered through the stores and through signed in-app updates from our own server.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage or for the behaviour of other users, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Plus in the 12 months before the damage, or €50 if you paid nothing. This limit does not apply to damage caused by intent or gross negligence, or where the law does not allow a limit.
11. Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time by deleting your account in the app (You → Settings → Delete account) or via the Delete account page. We may end or suspend your access as described in section 5, or if we stop offering Rizzable; in that case we give you at least 30 days’ notice where possible.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when features or the law change. We tell you about important changes in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. If you don’t agree, you can delete your account before then.
13. Law and disputes
Dutch law applies. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of that country. Let’s try to solve any problem together first: email support@rizzable.eu. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, or the court where you live if the law gives you that right.
